The first year started slowly, with towing for the Nebraska State Patrol, Otoe County and Johnson County Sheriff’s Offices, and AAA. After six months they grew enough to purchase a competing company in Nebraska City. After the first year they purchased an auto repair shop in Syracuse, Nebraska.
This became their base of operations for the next few years. In 2003 they purchased a competing towing company in Lincoln, Nebraska and began serving the Lincoln, Syracuse, and Nebraska City areas. In 2010, Midwest Towing and Recovery expanded again into the Omaha, Nebraska market, where they provided transportation services to a five-state area.
The Omaha office dispatched the Omaha area and the northern and western parts of the state, while the Lincoln office retained the bookkeeping and the local and southeast Nebraska dispatching.
